Ours is a happy, welcoming school and we pride ourselves in providing a caring, happy and friendly atmosphere that nurtures all children and enables them to meet their maximum potential in all areas of their growth and development.
We believe that every child is different, yet equally important and valued.  Our beliefs and curriculum are based on our Catholic foundation and Christ is at the centre of all that we do.  We are conscious we are laying firm foundations for a lifetime of learning, and for a rapidly changing world. 
St Chad's is an exciting place, a modern forward thinking school where a respect for traditional values and a love for learning make it a happy and nurturing community. 
We aim to give the highest priority to academic excellence through a broad and balanced and exciting creative curriculum with a keen focus on the arts and sports.

Staff, Directors and pupils work tirelessly to continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning which is leading to progress and standards rising. 
St Chad's progress data is in the top 10% of all schools nationally (2017) and we are one of the 'top 10' best schools in Croydon.
However we are not complacent, we aim to give every young person an education  of real worth, one which will equip him/her to take a place in society as a responsible, informed adult, who has high self-esteem and respect for others.  Therefore we firmly believe that a child's education must include the widest range of opportunities, be they artistic, sporting, cultural, recreational or social.
We continue to improve daily as we find new and exciting ways to challenge pupils to be the best they can be.
